تتابع الجمعيه العربيه للصحه العامه العامه وبقلق شديد جدا ما تعرضت له جنوب تركيا وشمال سوريا الحبيبه من زلازل وموجات الاهتزازات الارضيه والتي راح ضحيتها عدد كبير من اشقائنا وشرد عدد اكبر نتيجه لكوارث هائلة بالمناطق المتضررة وتدمير للمساكن والبنيه التحتيه والحباه العامه.
حدث هذا وبلدنا الشقيق سوريا يمر بضروف صعبة نتيجة للمقاطعه المفروضه على هذا البلد العربي.
لذا نهيب وندعو جميع المنظمات والمؤسسات والهيئات العرببة والاقليمية وآلدولية و كافه اعضاء الجمعيه العربية للصحة العامة العمل الفوري لحشد الدعم بكل الوسائل وتشجيع التبرع من قبل اكبر عدد ضمن حلقات تواصلكم للمساهمة بمساعدة إخوتنا هنالك والوقوف مع شعبنا في سوريا.
ويجب كذلك ان لا ننسى اخواننا في تركيا.
ونحن إذا نتطلع إلى بذل كل المساعي في هذا الجانب الإنساني نظرا إلى الخسائر البشرية الهائلة والكبيرة في الأرواح والارقام قد تزيد ان لم نقف معهم، خاصة وانه لا تزال الآلاف من الأسر والعائلات تهيم في العراء وتعيش الهلع والخوف والكرب العظيم والحزن البالغ مع النقص الحاد في الدواء والغذاء وامكانيات الايواء الإنسانية في هذه الظروف القاسية وفي طقس شديد البروده.
في الوقت الذي تتقدم به الجمعيه العربيه للصحه العامه بأحر التعازي والمواساة في ضحايا الزلزال وما تتابعه من هزات أرضية في سوريا وتركيا ولبنان والاردن ،إذ ندعو كل الجهات الرسمية والأهلية والهيئات والمؤسسات والمنظمات المعنية بالإنقاذ والمساعدات الإنسانية والكوارث والأزمات بضرورة الإسراع بتقديم كافة أشكال الإغاثة وانواع المساعدات الإنسانية والصحية/الطبية لإنقاذ سكان المناطق المتضررة ، والعمل على توفير كل ما يلزم لقاطني المناطق المتضررة من معونات انسانية وطبيه وماليه. وكذلك نحث زميلاتنا وزملائنا بالتبرع من خلال مكتب منظمه الصحة العالمية لاقليم الشرق المتوسط وذلك بالتواصل مع مندوبة المنظمة في سوريا

Statement
The Arab Public Health Association is following with great concern the earthquakes that befell southern Turkey and the beloved north of Syria, which claimed the lives of a large number of our brothers and displaced an even greater number as a result of massive disasters in the affected areas and the destruction of housing and infrastructure.
This happened while our brotherly country, Syria, is going through difficult circumstances due to the sanctions imposed on this Arab country.
Therefore, we call upon and call on all Arab, regional and international organizations, institutions and bodies, and all members of the Arab Public Health Association, to work immediately to mobilize support by all means and encourage donations by the largest number within your network to contribute in helping our brothers there and standing with our people in Syria. We must also not forget our brothers in Turkey.
And we are looking forward to exerting all endeavours in this humanitarian aspect, given the vast and huge human losses in lives and numbers that may increase if we do not stand with them, especially since thousands of families are still wandering in the open and living in panic, fear, great anguish, and extreme grief with a shortage of medicine, food, and humanitarian shelter possibilities in these harsh conditions and frigid weather.
At a time when the Arab Public Health Association extends its deepest condolences and sympathy for the victims of the earthquake and the subsequent earthquakes in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan, we call on all official and private bodies, institutions and organizations concerned with rescue, humanitarian aid, disasters and crises to expedite the provision of all forms of relief, humanitarian assistance, and health / medical services to save the residents of the affected areas, and to work to provide all that is necessary for the residents of the affected areas in terms of humanitarian, medical and financial aid. We also urge our female and male colleagues to donate through the WHO office for the Eastern Mediterranean Region by contacting the WHO representative in Syria.
